My studio and location, Joel Hicks Photographic, is a private photographic studio and 13 acre location set in heart of the Midlands. All bookings are made on the basis that both the studio and location will be available during the allotted time, and gives license to a single photographer and model for that period. Enquiries relating to group bookings and workshops are assessed on an individual basis. All bookings are for a minimum of 2 hour, and the fee stands at £15 per hour on weekday and £20 an hour at weekends. For freelance models embarking on tours to the Midlands regions, Joel Hicks photographic is an ideal place to base your tour. With the studio and location available for hire during your stay, cities such as Leicester, Tamworth, Birmingham and Nottingham are all short commutes either by train or car. Accommodation is also available on site if required. Joel Hicks Photographic also offers excellent value for London-based creative. The studio and location is little over an hour away from Central London by train, or is easily accessible via the M1 and M6 motorways, providing a unique artistic environment at a fraction of the cost. The studio space at Joel Hicks Photographic has everything you need for your creative needs. It comes equipped with multiple flash lights with various fixings, remotes, triggers, reflectors, stands, props, an array of continuous lights (for video work) and many other photographic aids.  Plug sockets are located both in the ceiling and on the walls, and creatives are welcome to bring their own lighting equipment should they so wish. The vinyl backdrops provided are white, black and chroma-key green (for composite and green-screen production).  The vinyl is extremely durable and strong, and the backdrops are easily interchanged using a light and easy to use mechanism. There is a changing area for models, as well as hanging and storage space for clothing and other items. The studio includes a 42" plasma screen TV for the viewing of images or other media.  In addition, the screen is also connected to Apple TV and so any Apple device can be shown on the screen or played through the TV using the 'mirror screen' option located in your device settings. The studio also comes with free WiFi access. It should be noted that the studio is fitted with a CCTV camera.  This camera is in operation for the protection of both the model and the photographer, and to ensure studio security. In terms of the location, Joel Hicks Photographic is situated within 13 acres of privately owned land, and provides a wonderfully varied and creative opportunity for both photographers and models alike, as well as commercial clients. The location encompasses a number of diverse and distinct features, rendering it suitable for a wide range of creative projects.
