Hi all, now a bit about me!

I have been firing shots off for about 30 years now and a brief return stint in the studio early last year, gave me the urge to return to more model work, both in the studio and on location. I enjoy shooting almost any styles or concepts with the aim of expanding my repertoire.

As I have a full-time job, time is my enemy! Fitting shoots around family commitments and the daily grind is my biggest problem. But if I can find the time around these things, then I guess I love producing work that models are proud to put in their portfolios.

Over the last 25 years, I have shot weddings, live concert/band promotion work, but I mainly have been doing Theatre/Stage photography, along with the accompanying promotional work/designs for the same, so I enjoy the post processing work as much as the shooting side (you have to when you faced with a screen for 8hrs a day, as well). I always shoot looking for that one shot to make the shoot worthwhile, which I think all photographers do! I also return to old shoots months/years later to look/re-edit/re-imagine work with fresh eyes after not seeing them for a while.

I'm happy to work and book shoots with anyone, but I also expect that once a agreement is entered into, any withdrawal at a later date where the shoot cannot be rescheduled, all expenses incurred are reimbursed, deposits may be required especially when working with people for the first time. I have had to add the paragraph to my port, due to cancellations being notified with no good reason, resulting in monetary loses I can ill afford. All rescheduled shoots insure no reimbursement. All shoot rates for requests to update any portfolios are negotiable to suit various budgets. So if this is you, just drop me a line.

Note on Model/Photographer Safety
In light of recent safety issues arising between models and photographers, that have been highlighted on various site, I would like to make this offer.
If you want to check out any of my references on this or other sites such as Purpleport, please feel free to contact the models concerned and ask them directly about me. If you want to ask any questions of me, then please do so. On arrangement of a shoot, I will always provide my mobile phone number and would ask, and expect, the same of you. As good communication is everything. Also, if you would like to bring a chaperone with you on any shoot that is arranged between us, I have no objection to that. My only provision is that, as long as they do not interfere with the shoot concepts or ideas, or try and take control of the shoot in anyway, they are welcome. If there is anything i can do to help make you feel safe and secure, then please do not hesitate to ask. I would add, please do not be offended if I make similar enquiries or requests by the same reasoning.
