Art of Warm is our small Canadian company making bold outerwear for women with a confident and timeless sense of style. While it's important outerwear keeps you warm and protected from the elements, it should be just as much a reflection of your individuality as the outfit you wear underneath.

By the time Art of Warm was up and running, founder Melissa had already spent most of her life making stunning, sometimes eccentric, designs for music videos, photo shoots, and just for fun. From leather corsets to alien-lizard Hallowe'en costumes, those early no-limit experiments eventually evolved into a more refined style. Of course we haven't lost that original sense of humour and adventure. The thrill of experimenting with new fabrics and techniques to make visions become reality is still a major part of the Art of Warm design process. We firmly believe that our favourite songs, science fiction books and heavy machinery can be viable sources of inspiration for beautiful, feminine clothing.

In January 2008, Art of Warm Clothing officially began with the creation of a few simple but unique jackets made in very limited quantities, sold at fashion and art markets and local retail stores. Over the years, we have grown an enthusiastic and loyal following from within Canada and around the world. The 2013 launch of our online store truly enabled us to spread our wings by offering more options to our amazing clientele.

Art of Warm garments are cut and structured for a very fitted look to offer an extraordinary shape like nothing else. Ultra-feminine silhouettes with strong, bold lines still feature practical options like super warm linings and even waterproof fabrics. We search far and wide for the best fabrics and trims, using recycled and locally-sourced materials whenever possible. Designs are meticulously planned and made with extreme attention to detail and quality to stand the test of time. We want you to enjoy your Art of Warm for years to come!
