About me



I’m an experienced professional model, photographer and photography tutor – you can see my photography here:http://purpleport.com/portfolio/….

As a model, I have done well over a thousand paid shoots, and I am widely published throughout the world. I have done shoots all over the UK, and in many other countries. I’m agency-represented, but also freelance.

I’ve have appeared in a mainstream film, The Look of Love, starring Steve Coogan, which was on general release and is now available on DVD. I also hold national qualifications in make-up artistry and fashion design.

As a model, I now restrict the shoots I offer to SERIOUS photographers (see below) and commercial commissions. I do not wish to work with photographers gathering material for what is euphemistically called ‘personal use’.

Serious Photographers:

I use this term to define photographers at any stage of development whose aim it is to produce images which are technically and artistically good, whether they are complete beginners, accomplished hobbyists, or experienced professionals.

Tutorial Days:

For those just starting out, or even those with some experience but who wish to extend their technical or artistic knowledge, I offer one-to-one shoot tutorials. These sessions, normally a full day at my home studio, are individually-designed to match the needs and starting point of the photographer. The agenda is set by discussion, and the day is punctuated by regular reviews of the work in progress. I help with the design of each set, give advice on camera settings and lighting, model for the photographs, then discuss the results. I can also offer tuition in Photoshop for those wanting it. There is no extra charge for these tutorials – my modelling rates apply. Conventional Shoots:

I am also happy to model for those wanting me for a conventional shoot provided there is evidence in the photographer’s portfolio which is of a reasonable standard – hence my term ‘serious photographers’.

Please note I reserve the right to object to any poses which I deem to be in bad taste or find uncomfortable.



Home Studio:

My home studio is a VERY large house near Stafford, originally built in 1580, with additions in 1760, and 1847. It has NINE bedrooms, and SIX reception rooms, which includes a fully-equipped studio, a dark room, and use of several other rooms where sets can be built. There are three staircases, and wide hallways. Some ceilings are twelve feet six inches high. There is also a derelict coach house and stable block, and access to a 1965 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 3. The private garden is 1.2 acres.

I have a full set of professional lights and numerous accessories, and backdrops.

Use of my studio and equipment is FREE to those booking me for home shoots, and lunch is included on full day shoots. For those wanting to hire the facilities for shooting other models, the day rate is £120 for one photographer and one model, more for group shoots, depending on the size of the group.



My looks



I am a UK size 6, 32E/23/35, have warm brunette shoulder length hair, and hazel eyes. My skin is pale, light, and reflective, with no blemishes, piercings, or tattoos. I am a non-smoker, and I keep my body toned and flexible so that I can perform a range of creative and graceful poses. I can achieve a wide range of looks, including retro, cute teen, to modern glamour goddess, and fetish chic. I am competent at producing lots of different makeup styles to a high quality, and can style my hair to match the shoot brief, if required. I also have a large and varied wardrobe with modern and retro style clothing and lingerie, corsets and much more.



My rates



The maximum level to which I work is artistic nude, and I charge the same rate regardless of what level is being shot - you pay for my time and skills, not for sight of my skin!

Please also note that I NEVER do TF shoots- this is my job and I don't need extra images for my port.

My rates are as follows:

Hourly: £45 (minimum home shoot: 3 hours - £135)

Half day:£160

Full day:£300

I am happy to travel, but ask for travelling expenses to be paid in all cases. Unless the shoot is very close to my home, away shoots are charged at my full day rate. I also ask for accommodation expenses where overnight stays are needed.

I'm happy to host shoots at my home studio involving up to three photographers. The hourly rate is £60 an hour for two photographers, and £70 an hour for three photographers, with discounts for half and whole day shoots.

Cancellations:

Please note that I charge 100% fee for cancellations within 3 days of the shoot (three weeks for a tour), but would rather re-arrange a shoot where possible. Availability: I do not use the diary on Purple Port. The bookings you see against my name are ones photographers have entered, and I have confirmed, but the diary DOES NOT show ALL my bookings because I have profiles on other sites.

I'm a female photographer and professional model. I work professionally as a model, and run lighting tutorial days too for amateur photographers.

I am also a qualified make-up artist.
