Velvet Goldmine Studio is based in the North Laine, Brighton.
Offer includes all lights/modifiers etc., and FREE PARKING for 2 cars!
Equipped with 4 Bowens freestanding GM500 lights.
Plus 2 Bowens GM400 lights attached to ceiling.
We have assorted softboxes such as octagonal, large, medium and narrow with honeycomb grids.
40cm Beauty dish with honeycomb grid, umbrellas, barn doors, snoot, boom arm and Sekonic light meter.
The shooting area measures 20′ x 15′. Ceiling height is 10′.
We have a Make Up area at the side of the studio, a kitchenette for teas/coffees, plus a separate changing area/bathroom.
The studio is ideal for shooting portraits, fashion, beauty and boudoir. We have a beautiful aubergine chaise longue.
We have different coloured 3m wide coloramas in black, grey, white and chromagreen paper coloramas attached to the wall.
From a separate stand we can also hang white vinyl which is slightly wider than the paper rolls.
We have red velvet curtain that runs all around the studio.
Behind the curtain is a white textured brick wall which is also a decent background.
Studio Hire is £25 per hour (incl.) Mon-Sat, (£30ph on Sundays).
Minimum hire is 2 hours.
Half Day Hire (4hrs) is £90, (£110 on Sundays).
Full Day Hire (8hrs) is £150, (£180 on Sundays).
All prices are inclusive of lighting use.
The use of coloramas are free. However, if you use the colorama for full length shots and the colorama is riddled with stiletto holes and needs to be torn off and thrown away – you will need to pay £15 for colorama wastage.
